Resin Burning Starter Set

Everything needed to start burning loose resin, which otherwise means buying four things from four places. A pierced brass burner with a wooden-handled lid, a pair of brass tongs for moving a lit disc, twenty charcoal discs in a foil tube, and 25g tins of frankincense and myrrh to work through. The burner takes a sand or ash bed, which is the part most first-timers miss, so a paper card in the box explains it. Packed in a card box with a paper insert. For burning only. Nothing in this set is for eating.

Apply a small amount to the pulse points — wrist, neck or behind the ear. Attars are undiluted, so one pass of the roll-on is enough; the scent opens over the first twenty minutes and settles close to the skin. For burners and incense, use in a ventilated room on a heatproof surface and never leave anything lit unattended.

External use only. Not a medicine.

Materials

Brass burner and tongs, bamboo charcoal discs, Boswellia and Commiphora resin. Card box.

Care

Let the burner cool fully before handling. Empty the ash bed when cold and wipe the bowl dry.
