Mysore Sandalwood Agarbatti

Rolled in Mysuru from sandalwood powder worked into a natural gum binder and pressed by hand onto bamboo splints. The mix carries no synthetic fragrance oil and no dipping solvent, which is why the stick smells of wood rather than perfume and why it burns down slowly and evenly. A single stick runs about forty minutes. Supplied in a printed card sleeve with a paper inner wrap. Burn in a ventilated room on a holder that catches the ash, and never leave a lit stick unattended.

Apply a small amount to the pulse points — wrist, neck or behind the ear. Attars are undiluted, so one pass of the roll-on is enough; the scent opens over the first twenty minutes and settles close to the skin. For burners and incense, use in a ventilated room on a heatproof surface and never leave anything lit unattended.

Keep the sleeve closed and dry. Bamboo takes up damp, and a damp stick burns unevenly.
