Products are not medicines
Our attars, oils, powders, soaps, incense and resins are cosmetic, topical or aromatic goods for external use only. None of them is a medicine or a food, and none should be swallowed. Nothing on this website is medical advice.
What descriptions mean
Product descriptions say what an item is made of, where it comes from and how it was made. Where a material has a long traditional use in India, the Gulf or elsewhere, we describe that use as history. It is not a claim about what the product will do for anyone.
Devotional objects
We make and sell objects for use in prayer and ritual. We do not describe any item as consecrated, blessed or energised, and we make no claim about spiritual outcomes. How you use an object in your practice is for you and your tradition to decide.
Materials and variation
Natural materials such as shell, seed, wood, resin and stone, and handmade brass, vary from piece to piece and from the photographs. Silver-finish and gold-finish items are plated metal, not solid silver or gold.
Safety
- Attars and oils are undiluted. Patch test before wider use, keep them away from your eyes, and stop using anything that irritates your skin.
- Lamps, candles, charcoal and incense involve flame and heat. Never leave them unattended, and keep them out of reach of children and pets.
- If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are using a product on a child, speak to a qualified professional first.
