Votive Candles — Box of 24

Plain unscented votives poured into their own metal cups so they can be lit straight from the box without a separate holder. Each burns for around ten hours, which is the length a votive stand is normally worked on, and the wick is centred and pre-trimmed. These are the candles lit at prayer stands in Catholic and Orthodox churches and used just as widely on home altars across traditions. Twenty-four to a box with a card divider. Burn on a heatproof surface, away from anything that can catch, and never unattended.

Apply a small amount to the pulse points — wrist, neck or behind the ear. Attars are undiluted, so one pass of the roll-on is enough; the scent opens over the first twenty minutes and settles close to the skin. For burners and incense, use in a ventilated room on a heatproof surface and never leave anything lit unattended.

Materials

Refined paraffin wax, cotton wick, tinplate cup. Card box, card divider.

Care

Store flat and out of heat. Wax that has softened and reset will still burn but the surface will look uneven.
