Camphor Tablets
Pressed camphor tablets that burn clean and leave no ash. For aarti and temple use. Not for eating.
Pressed tablets of refined camphor, the material burned in the aarti flame at the close of Hindu worship because it burns away completely and leaves nothing in the tray. Lit directly on a camphor holder or in the cup of an aarti thali. It takes flame instantly and burns hot and fast, so it is handled with a small holder and never in the hand. Supplied in a sealed tub, because camphor sublimes into the air and an open box empties itself over a few months. Bulk sizes are packed for temple supply. Not for eating and not for skin.
Apply a small amount to the pulse points — wrist, neck or behind the ear. Attars are undiluted, so one pass of the roll-on is enough; the scent opens over the first twenty minutes and settles close to the skin. For burners and incense, use in a ventilated room on a heatproof surface and never leave anything lit unattended.
External use only. Not a medicine.
Materials
Refined camphor. Sealed polypropylene tub with a screw lid.
Care
Keep the lid sealed. Camphor evaporates in open air and will scent everything in the cupboard with it.
