Shabbat Candles — Box of 72

Slim white tapers cut to fit a standard Shabbat candlestick without wedging or wobbling, which is the whole job of this candle and the thing cheap ones get wrong. Each burns for around three hours, comfortably past nightfall. Two are lit at the start of Shabbat and more in many households, so they are sold in a box of seventy-two rather than in pairs. Unscented and undyed. Packed upright in a card box with a paper sleeve. Burn in a proper holder on a heatproof surface, clear of anything above them.

Apply a small amount to the pulse points — wrist, neck or behind the ear. Attars are undiluted, so one pass of the roll-on is enough; the scent opens over the first twenty minutes and settles close to the skin. For burners and incense, use in a ventilated room on a heatproof surface and never leave anything lit unattended.

Care

Store upright and cool. Tapers bend under their own weight if the box is left flat in heat.
