Olive Wood Rosary

A full five-decade rosary — fifty-nine beads, the centrepiece and the crucifix — turned from olive wood in the workshops around Bethlehem, where pruned and fallen olive has been worked into devotional goods for a very long time. Olive is dense and figured, and no two beads carry the same grain. Linked on a bronze-tone chain rather than strung, so a pulled link opens rather than scattering the decade. The crucifix is plain and unfigured. Supplied in a card box with a drawstring pouch. Wood, chain and corpus only; nothing here is blessed at our end.

Apply a small amount to the pulse points — wrist, neck or behind the ear. Attars are undiluted, so one pass of the roll-on is enough; the scent opens over the first twenty minutes and settles close to the skin. For burners and incense, use in a ventilated room on a heatproof surface and never leave anything lit unattended.

Care

Keep dry; the chain is base metal and will mark if left damp. Olive wood needs no oil.

Unopened items can be returned within seven days of delivery. For reasons of hygiene, opened attars, oils, powders and any item with a broken seal cannot be returned unless the item arrived damaged.
