Glass Bead Rosary
Firozabad glass beads on a silver-tone chain. Five decades, plain crucifix, deep garnet glass.

Firozabad has made glass by furnace since the Mughal period and still turns out most of the bangle and bead glass in India. These beads are pressed there in a deep garnet that reads almost black until light gets behind it. A full five-decade rosary on a silver-tone chain with a plain crucifix and a plain centrepiece. Glass is heavier in the hand than wood, which some people prefer for counting and some do not; if this is a first rosary it is worth knowing before choosing. Supplied in a card box with a drawstring pouch.
Apply a small amount to the pulse points — wrist, neck or behind the ear. Attars are undiluted, so one pass of the roll-on is enough; the scent opens over the first twenty minutes and settles close to the skin. For burners and incense, use in a ventilated room on a heatproof surface and never leave anything lit unattended.
External use only. Not a medicine.
Materials
Pressed soda-lime glass beads, silver-tone base metal chain and crucifix. Pouch, card box.
Care
Glass chips if dropped on a hard floor. Store in the pouch rather than loose in a bag.
