Ghee Lamp Vessels — Brass, 6 Piece

Six small brass lamp cups with a deeper well than an oil diya, which is what ghee needs: it sets solid at room temperature and has to be given room to pool as it melts back. Spun and turned in Moradabad, unlacquered. The set is the format used along the front of a home shrine and down the steps of a temple at festival. Supplied empty. There is no ghee in the box and none is sold with it — ghee is a dairy product and we do not hold a food licence, so the vessels ship on their own. Use a cotton wick and a heatproof surface.

Apply a small amount to the pulse points — wrist, neck or behind the ear. Attars are undiluted, so one pass of the roll-on is enough; the scent opens over the first twenty minutes and settles close to the skin. For burners and incense, use in a ventilated room on a heatproof surface and never leave anything lit unattended.

Care

Wash in hot water after use; set ghee is much harder to shift once it has gone cold in the well.

Unopened items can be returned within seven days of delivery. For reasons of hygiene, opened attars, oils, powders and any item with a broken seal cannot be returned unless the item arrived damaged.
