Sandal Incense — 12 pack

Hand-rolled in Kerala on a thin bamboo core, using sandalwood powder and a natural gum binder. The scent is dry and woody rather than sweet, which is what separates a sandalwood stick made with actual sandalwood from one carrying a synthetic sandal note. Twelve packs of fifteen sticks, which is roughly a year for most households. Each stick burns for about forty minutes. Packed in paper sleeves inside a card outer. Burn upright in a holder on a heatproof surface, in a ventilated room.

Apply a small amount to the pulse points — wrist, neck or behind the ear. Attars are undiluted, so one pass of the roll-on is enough; the scent opens over the first twenty minutes and settles close to the skin. For burners and incense, use in a ventilated room on a heatproof surface and never leave anything lit unattended.
