Loban Dhoop Sticks

Loban — benzoin resin — ground and pressed into solid sticks with no bamboo core, so nothing burns but the material itself and there is no woody undertone from a stick. The smoke is thick and sweet and comes fast; a single stick runs about twenty minutes and is more than enough for a room. Traditionally lit in the evening and carried through the house. Supplied in a card box with a paper inner. Burn upright in a holder, on a heatproof surface, in a ventilated room.

Apply a small amount to the pulse points — wrist, neck or behind the ear. Attars are undiluted, so one pass of the roll-on is enough; the scent opens over the first twenty minutes and settles close to the skin. For burners and incense, use in a ventilated room on a heatproof surface and never leave anything lit unattended.

External use only. Not a medicine.

Materials

Pressed benzoin resin and natural binder. Card box, paper inner.

Care

Keep dry and closed. Use a holder that catches ash; dhoop burns hotter than incense.
