Panchpatra & Achmani Set
The water vessel, spoon and saucer used for achman. Turned brass, plain and unlacquered.
50 in stock
A panchpatra is the small water vessel kept beside the seat during worship; the achmani is the spoon that lifts water from it, and the pali is the saucer it drains into. The three work together for achman, the sipping and offering of water that punctuates a puja, and they are almost never used apart. Turned in plain brass in Moradabad with no engraving, because this is a working set rather than a display one. Unlacquered. Supplied in a card box. Rinse before first use.
Apply a small amount to the pulse points — wrist, neck or behind the ear. Attars are undiluted, so one pass of the roll-on is enough; the scent opens over the first twenty minutes and settles close to the skin. For burners and incense, use in a ventilated room on a heatproof surface and never leave anything lit unattended.
External use only. Not a medicine.
Materials
Turned brass, unlacquered. Card box with a paper insert.
Care
Empty and dry after every use. Brass left standing in water develops a green bloom at the waterline.
