Conch Shell — Shankh
A right-turning Turbinella pyrum shell, cut and polished for blowing. Sourced under fishery licence.
25 in stock
Turbinella pyrum, the shell used as a shankh, taken from the Gulf of Mannar and finished at Rameswaram. This is the dakshinavarti or right-turning form, cut at the apex and polished so it can be blown. Natural shell varies in size, weight and colour, and the interior banding is different in every one. Sourced through licensed fishery channels only, with the collection record held for each lot; we do not buy from uncertified stock. Supplied on a card stand in a lined box. Rinse and dry fully after blowing.
Apply a small amount to the pulse points — wrist, neck or behind the ear. Attars are undiluted, so one pass of the roll-on is enough; the scent opens over the first twenty minutes and settles close to the skin. For burners and incense, use in a ventilated room on a heatproof surface and never leave anything lit unattended.
External use only. Not a medicine.
