Brass Kalash
A spun brass pot with a rolled rim, for the kalash set at the centre of a ceremony.
The round pot that stands at the centre of a ceremony, filled with water and topped with mango leaves and a coconut. Spun from a single brass sheet in Moradabad with a rolled rim, which is both the traditional profile and the practical one: a rolled edge takes the weight of a coconut without deforming. Left plain and unlacquered. Three sizes, from a household shrine up to a mandap centrepiece. Supplied on its own — no leaves, no coconut, no thread. Rinse before first use.
Apply a small amount to the pulse points — wrist, neck or behind the ear. Attars are undiluted, so one pass of the roll-on is enough; the scent opens over the first twenty minutes and settles close to the skin. For burners and incense, use in a ventilated room on a heatproof surface and never leave anything lit unattended.
External use only. Not a medicine.
Materials
Spun brass, unlacquered, rolled rim. Card box.
Care
Do not leave water standing in it between ceremonies. Dry the inside fully or the base will stain.
