Travel Incense Case — Brass

A brass tube with a screw cap that carries incense sticks without snapping them, which is what happens to every stick packed loose in a bag. The cap unscrews and inverts into a weighted stand with a pierced centre, so the case is also the burner and there is nothing else to pack. It holds about fifteen sticks cut to length, or six full-length ones. Turned in Moradabad from solid brass with a cut thread rather than a rolled one, so the cap seats squarely and does not cross-thread. Supplied empty.

Apply a small amount to the pulse points — wrist, neck or behind the ear. Attars are undiluted, so one pass of the roll-on is enough; the scent opens over the first twenty minutes and settles close to the skin. For burners and incense, use in a ventilated room on a heatproof surface and never leave anything lit unattended.

Care

Let the cap cool before screwing it back on. Tip the ash out rather than washing the tube.
