Travel Altar Box — Sheesham

A hinged box in sheesham that opens flat so the lid becomes the back of a small altar and the base becomes the working surface. Inside is a removable tray with four compartments, sized between them for a small figure or a folded text, a mala or rosary, a few incense sticks and a diya or votive. The tray lifts out, so the box can be run as one open space instead if that suits the practice better. Carved and fitted in Saharanpur, felt-lined, with a brass catch and hinges. Supplied empty; nothing devotional is included.

Apply a small amount to the pulse points — wrist, neck or behind the ear. Attars are undiluted, so one pass of the roll-on is enough; the scent opens over the first twenty minutes and settles close to the skin. For burners and incense, use in a ventilated room on a heatproof surface and never leave anything lit unattended.

External use only. Not a medicine.

Materials

Sheesham (Indian rosewood), felt lining, brass catch and hinges. Card outer box.

Care

Keep out of direct sun and away from radiators; solid wood moves and a warped lid will not sit flush.
