Stone-ground neem leaf and turmeric root. A traditional powder bath, mixed fresh in the hand.
Neem leaf and turmeric root, dried in shade and stone-ground so the powder stays coarse enough to work with water rather than clump. Mixed to a loose paste in the palm and used in place of soap, the way a powder bath has been taken across South India for a very long time. The turmeric gives it a strong yellow that will mark light-coloured cloth, so it is worth keeping an old towel for it. Nothing synthetic is added. Packed in a paper pouch. Cosmetic and topical use only. Not a medicine.
Apply a small amount to the pulse points — wrist, neck or behind the ear. Attars are undiluted, so one pass of the roll-on is enough; the scent opens over the first twenty minutes and settles close to the skin. For burners and incense, use in a ventilated room on a heatproof surface and never leave anything lit unattended.
External use only. Not a medicine.
Neem leaf powder, turmeric root powder. Kraft paper pouch with a paper label.
Keep dry and reseal after use. Rinse thoroughly; turmeric can stain fabric and grout.
