Amla Brahmi Hair Oil

Amla fruit and brahmi leaf steeped in cold-pressed coconut oil over low heat until the oil takes the colour and scent of both, then strained and bottled. It is a slow method and an old one, and it produces an oil that sits somewhere between green and grey rather than the bright colours you get when dye is added. Warmed slightly and worked into the scalp before washing, in the way hair oil is used across the subcontinent. Supplied in amber glass. Cosmetic and topical use only.

Apply a small amount to the pulse points — wrist, neck or behind the ear. Attars are undiluted, so one pass of the roll-on is enough; the scent opens over the first twenty minutes and settles close to the skin. For burners and incense, use in a ventilated room on a heatproof surface and never leave anything lit unattended.

Care

Coconut oil solidifies below about 24°C. Stand the bottle in warm water to liquefy.

Unopened items can be returned within seven days of delivery. For reasons of hygiene, opened attars, oils, powders and any item with a broken seal cannot be returned unless the item arrived damaged.
