Bakhoor Tablets — Amber

The same pressed-tablet form as the rose oud, built around amber resin instead. It is the warmer and rounder of the two, with less of the sharp opening and more of a sweet balsamic body, and it tends to be the one people reach for in cooler months. Half a tablet on a charcoal disc or an electric burner plate will carry an ordinary room. Supplied in a lidded tin with a paper insert. Burn in a ventilated space, away from children and open flame.

Apply a small amount to the pulse points — wrist, neck or behind the ear. Attars are undiluted, so one pass of the roll-on is enough; the scent opens over the first twenty minutes and settles close to the skin. For burners and incense, use in a ventilated room on a heatproof surface and never leave anything lit unattended.

Care

Keep the tin closed. Burn over indirect heat only and let the burner cool before handling.
