Agarwood Chips — Grade A

Agarwood forms when a Aquilaria tree lays down resin in response to injury, and the density of that resin is the whole measure of the wood. These are grade A chips, dark and heavy, sinking rather than floating, sized for a burner rather than a censer. A single chip on a heated mica plate or over a charcoal disc will scent a room for the better part of an hour. Sold by weight in a lidded tin with a paper insert carrying the lot number. Sourcing and permit documentation is held for every lot.

Apply a small amount to the pulse points — wrist, neck or behind the ear. Attars are undiluted, so one pass of the roll-on is enough; the scent opens over the first twenty minutes and settles close to the skin. For burners and incense, use in a ventilated room on a heatproof surface and never leave anything lit unattended.

Care

Keep the tin closed so the resin does not dry out. Burn over indirect heat, never in a flame.
