Hanging Brass Lantern

A pierced brass lantern with coloured glass set behind the cutwork, so a tealight inside throws patterned light across the wall rather than glare. The piercing is done by hand and no two are identical. It comes with a chain and ring for hanging, and the base is flat enough to stand on a shelf instead if you would rather. The door opens on a simple pin hinge for placing a light. Unlacquered brass; it will darken. Use with a tealight only, never an open taper.

Apply a small amount to the pulse points — wrist, neck or behind the ear. Attars are undiluted, so one pass of the roll-on is enough; the scent opens over the first twenty minutes and settles close to the skin. For burners and incense, use in a ventilated room on a heatproof surface and never leave anything lit unattended.
