Cotton Kufi Cap

Crocheted from cotton yarn in an open stitch that lets air through, which matters in a Gujarat summer. The crown is worked in a spiral so there is no seam to sit awkwardly, and the band has enough give to settle without gripping. It keeps its shape through washing better than a stitched fabric cap, and it dries in an hour. Three sizes: small at 56cm, medium at 58cm, large at 60cm around the band. Cotton only, undyed or piece-dyed depending on the batch.

Apply a small amount to the pulse points — wrist, neck or behind the ear. Attars are undiluted, so one pass of the roll-on is enough; the scent opens over the first twenty minutes and settles close to the skin. For burners and incense, use in a ventilated room on a heatproof surface and never leave anything lit unattended.

Hand wash cool, reshape while damp and dry flat. Do not wring.
